Paula left Bedford in 1975. She taught in a number of schools and also lectured for six years at what is now the University of Bedfordshire.
Paula is currently Course Director for the Secondary Teacher training at Brunel University. She also leads the MA Education Specialist pathway in Inclusion and Special Educational Needs, Independent Study and Action Research modules and is a member of the Pedagogy, Professional Development and Policy Research Group, which involves working collaboratively on Models of Teacher Education and Pathways to Learning as well as the use of ICT to support professional development and practice. Paula recently completed her PhD on Reflective Practice.
She has a daughter and a son both of whom have just completed their degrees in US Universities. When time permits, Paula enjoys to choreograph for theatre companies and her fondest memories within this role include: Fiddler on the Roof, Gigi, South Pacific, Little Shop of Horrors [and they were], Anything Goes and West Side Story. One ambition, before she leaves this planet earth...is to spend time with the orphaned orangutans of the Rainforests in Borneo.
